When you eat packaged and processed foods, it’s easy to get fooled into thinking you’re eating healthy food that in fact is loaded with sugar. If you check out label you’ll be surprised to find that some so-called healthy foods have more sugar than a Twinkie!
The Huffington Post recently revealed that tomato sauce, yogurt, granola bars, muffins, canned fruit and fat-free muffins are often high in added sugars. For example, the average 6-ounce container of yogurt should have about 12 grams of sugar. In contrast, an 8-ounce container of artificially-flavored vanilla yogurt can have more than 30 grams of sugar. This is more sugar that you’ll find in the average chocolate candy bar.
